The tables have turned in Bigg Boss and roles have been interchanged in the second day of the luxury budget task. Today, Puneesh, Bandagi, Hiten and Shilpa become little dwarfs and are tasked with torturing the giants Hina, Luv, Akash and Arshi. Love birds Puneesh and Bandagi are all set to take their revenge after all the torture they had to endure on the first day of the task.

Today's element of surprise will be brought in by Akash Dadlani, who with sheer will power gets through the task successfully. His motive of being the best performer and next captain keeps him going through all the torment bestowed upon him.
Luv on the other hand is also very ruthlessly bullied by the dwarfs. Karma comes back to him as he has to sacrifice his beloved hair for messing with Puneesh’s hair. Puneesh keeps using the trimmer till Luv is more than half bald! Also as Luv tries to protect his hair, Bandagi uses waxing strips and makes sure that not even single strand of hair is visible on Luv's body.
It is time now for Khiladi Hina to show off her determination and strength but Bandagi has set her eyes on a bigger prize! In a move to avenge the chili powder move, Bandagi decides to chop off Hina's precious locks. But there is a lot that is yet to be done in this task.

Sonakshi Sinha has been linked with most of her co-stars. Right from Arjun Kapoor to Ranveer Singh and even Shahid Kapoor, back when he was single. However rumour mills were rife with news of Sonakshi Sinha dating Bunty Sajdeh, Seema Khan's brother. Sonakshi and Bunty were rumoured to be dating for quite a long time and were even supposed to get engaged in February 2017. That is until, the news of their break-up hit the media. A close family friend of the Chopras told The Quint, "There is definitely a wedding on the cards. In fact, from what we've been told, it may happen any time early next year. At least that's where it stands at the moment. Uday is fully committed to marriage. He wants to make it legal with Nargis for the last two years. But she's commitment-phobic, both professionally and personally. She keeps running off to her home in New York. But now this time we're told she's in Mumbai to make the relationship legal."
The report also states that Nargis Fakhri is on good terms with Uday Chopra's mother Pamela. "They get along famously. No matter how much you try to recreate the set [in India], the look will differ. We went to Poland, Thailand and Germany. We recreated Austria and Berlin in Poland, and shot in remote locations of Thailand too."

Initial sequences of Zayed Khan's Haasil were shot in Mauritius. Producer Siddharth P Malhotra claims whisking the unit away is productive, since shooting in India is "tedious". "It may be expensive to shoot abroad, but, it's peaceful. The cast and crew is available all the time. The artistes are more efficient when you work for 10 hours, instead of the 14 that we put in while filming in Mumbai."

Touted to be among the most expensive Indian shows, Porus, has been extensively shot in Thailand. Director Siddharth Kumar Tewary jetted off to Khao Sok National Park to shoot the initial sequences. He says, "We had to show how India was before 350BC, when rivers were broader and there was sufficient greenery. We found those elements in Khao Sok." The director says the team facilitated travel for over 2,000 people. "Sometimes, the unit's family also tagged along. We did not object."

Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with the Indian film personality of the year award at IFFI 2017 and he chose the occasion to highlight the power of cinema saying it brings people together irrespective of their caste, colour, creed or religion. The 75-year-old actor said cinema is the only medium that offers "poetic justice" in mere three hours and he is proud to be a part of the film fraternity.
"I have always felt that my request and regard for the Indian film industry have rested in the presence the film industry has had in our world. When we sit inside a dark hall we never ask the creed, the colour (or) the religion of the person sitting next to us. We see the same film, we laugh on the same joke, we cry on the same emotion, we sing the same songs. In this fast world of today, where can you find such a wonderful and worthy example of unity and integration as we do in the world of cinema," he said in his acceptance speech.
Recalling a conversation he had with his father, eminent poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, the actor said, "During the last years, my father used to sit in front of the television and see a Hindi film every evening, often it used to be my own film. One day, I asked him what attracts him towards Hindi cinema and he said 'I get to see poetic justice in three hours.' This is the power of cinema. I am a very proud Indian and also a very proud and small member of this exquisite fraternity."
Amitabh Bachchan was presented with the award by Akshay Kumar and Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Smriti Irani. The actor, in his speech, also said that Goa is very close to his heart and thanked IFFI for the recognition. "Goa is very close to my heart. My first film 'Saat Hindustani' was shot in Goa and therefore I have immense amount of memories and love for people of Goa. The very first fan I had was also from Goa her name is Zareen Fernandez. I just want to thank IFFI and Smriti ji for this recognition. I have always felt that accolade that come to me are something I do not deserve. I still feel the same but I do respect this award. Thank you so much for having me here tonight and honouring me," Amitabh Bachchan said.

The actor recalled meeting Amitabh Bachchan in Kashmir, as a teenager, and thanked him for inspiring hundreds of people to choose acting. In her speech, Irani said, "You all, who have seen and studied Amitabh Bachchan's career, must be knowing that there was an incident when Amit ji went to audition for All India Radio and he was rejected and now it is ('vidhi ka vidhan') and our honour that the same ministry (Information and Broadcasting) is presenting you with this award. The festival had opened on November 20 amid the presence of superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Sridevi and ended on a star-studded celebration. The closing ceremony, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre and "Dangal" actor Zaira Wasim, started on a musical note with singer Papon performing one of his most popular songs "Moh moh ke dhaage'. Salman, who made a surprise entry on the stage following the performance could not speak much due to bad throat, but gave the audience some memorable moments with his chat with 'Tubelight' child actor Matin Rey Tangu. "My voice is gone. But I have come to Goa, because I love this place and the people," he said. Salman and Matin also recreated the "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" scene from their film 'Tubelight'.

The first award was the ICFT UNESCO Gandhi Medal, which was given to director Manoj Kadam for his film "Kshitij: A Horizon". French drama film "120 Beats Per Minute", directed by Robin Campillo, won the biggest honour of the night, the Golden Peacock Award. Actors Nahuel Perez Biscayart from France and India's Parvathy Thiruvoth Kottuvatta, received the Best Actor Male and Female awards respectively. They were given a Silver Peacock, a certificate and cash prize of Rs 10 lakh each. While Malayalam film "Take Off", directed by Mahesh Narayan, won the Special Jury Award, Chinese filmmaker Vivian Qu received the Best Director Award for her film "Angels Wear White". Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan was honoured the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The evening ended with all the stars and political leaders coming together on stage and saying goodbye to IFFI 2017, with a promise to return next year on a bigger and better scale.

Irani on Tuesday feted Amitabh with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award in Panaji. Puneesh is given a similar treatment with wax strips, chili powder and trimmers! Last on the block, Hiten puts his courageous foot forward and gets onto the bench. Out of respect for Hiten, Hina, Arshi and Luv decide to not participate wholeheartedly in the task, but Akash is persistent and does not rest till Hiten's legs are completely waxed off and his face covered in make-up.

Interestingly, a return to television didn't inspire the actor, who, after Jhansi Ki Rani, was offered similar roles in shows. But, producer Nikhil Sinha's next was too good to refuse, says Gupta. "I wanted to do different roles. In television, you get stuck playing the same character for several years. It can be suffocating. But, this role was made for me. I get to play different deities. Variation is the best part of the show." The show is the mythological story of 52 shaktipeeths (goddesses) from the perspective of Lord Shiva.
Playing the lead again after eight years, Gupta can't help but notice the difference in the treatment meted out to her. "There were no [skill enhancing] workshops conducted before we started filming this show, [like it was done earlier]. Also, when I was 13, people would explain a scene to me. No one does that anymore." Given that she made her name with a historical outing, the actor feared she'd get typecast. It was a conscious decision to deviate from routine, when she decided to be part of Marathi, Hindi, Bengali and Telugu films.
Glancing at her resume, it's hard to judge that Gupta grew up questioning her abilities as an actor. Today, she is unperturbed while confessing, "I lacked confidence. I thought I was not good enough. But, my father pushed me to excel. I thought I would not crack it in the movies, because I was not tall enough. But, I did," says the actor, who also took up dance lessons to better her prospects. "I've overcome the limitations that I associated with my physical appearance."

The historical drama is among the few to revisit the life of the king of the Pauravas, and in particular, the battle he fought with Alexander III. The story, set in about 350 BC, has only infrequently piqued the interest of filmmakers aspiring to create commercial outings. But, Tewary makes us question whether the decision to neglect this crucial part of history was wise.
The first episode that aired on Monday night did not feature the protagonist (Laksh Lalwani), but introduced us to a number of familiar faces that successfully established themselves with their opening acts. Returning to play the antagonist - or as it is pitched here - for the second time after his act as Shakuni in Tewary’s Mahabharata (2013), Praneet Bhat is instantly despicable as Darius.
Aditya Redij and Rati Pandey - who will eventually play parents to Porus - are the highlights of the first episode, with a brewing romance subtly making itself evident amidst animosity. A promising action sequence is thinned by a desire to show too much, too soon, but a series of hand-to-hand combat scenes test the place of action on the small screen. With more hits than misses, Porus is certainly worth a watch.

The actor who recently celebrated his 52nd birthday with his family and friends in Alibaug, is taking a solo trip with only a book as his companion. SRK wants to indulge in some me-time from the looks of it and plans to stay away from the chaos. But, it has certainly gotten us intrigued as to where could King Khan be headed off to. Is it for a shoot? Or just a solo trip? SRK, who is otherwise a family man loves spending time with his children and wife, but this time he is a solo traveller.
