In Haryana, perturbed over recurring instances of eve teasing and and alleged inaction by the police , panchayats of Gadania, Kherki,Nihalawas, Kuksi, Pal and Palah villages have decided not to send the girls to school. The decision will affect 400 girls.The National Human Rights Commission(NHRC) taking suo-motu notice of the media reports in this regard, has sought an explanation from the Haryana Government.
