Krishna triumphs

*Krishna Ranganath of CATTA and Horizon Club's Aditi N Nandi clinched the cadet boys' and girls' titles of the State-ranking table tennis tournament for the Nalanda Gurukula Cup on Thursday. *

Krishna defeated Dilip G of Horizon Club 11-3, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7 in the final, while Aditi Nandi breezed to a 11-2, 11-4, 11-6 victory over Shweta J in the girls'summit clash.

In the cadet girls'semifinals, Aditi Nandi put it past Anargya 11-9, 11-4, 11-7 while Shweta registered a hard-fought 11-8, 11-3, 3-11, 7-11, 14-12 win over Aditi P Joshi.
